Heavy Rigid HR Truck Training School. At Core Driving School we conduct all heavy vehicle licensing and run our courses 7 days a week. To suit your schedule we have flexible training hours, you can choose to do your training early morning or start training in the afternoon.
Educating the next Aussie generation truck drivers is our goal by ensuring safety to public, truck drivers and other road users is our priority. All students must pass 15 criteria’s during the training sessions with our professional trainer, after training all students must pass the final assessments with one of our professional assessor. The final assessment (FSA) is recorded and the recording will be sent to the RTO and RMS for auditing purposes.
Heavy Rigid HR Truck Licence Course
For safety there is a procedure for entering and exiting a heavy vehicle.
To Enter the vehicle the driver must check for traffic before moving out from the line of the vehicle and again before opening the door. When entering the vehicle the driver must use available steps and grab handles to climb into the vehicle, maintaining three points of contact at all times.
To exit the vehicle the driver must check again for traffic before opening the door. When exiting the vehicle the driver must exit facing the vehicle using available steps and grabs (not jumping) while maintaining three points of contact.

At Core Driving School we deliver high standards of Truck training and ensure all students understand the fundamentals of handling a heavy vehicle.
At Core Driving School we educate, train and assess Heavy Vehicle licensing. We do training and assessment up to 15 criteria’s for all our Truck licence courses. Providing a high standards to all new truck drivers, this includes the fundamental skills that every capable truck driver needs. As well as safety courses such as Safe Operation of Heavy Vehicles and Defensive Driving capabilities for all class of heavy vehicle licence’s.
